Peaches and Cream #Copied from entryID 103684# From the Girl's Drawin' Girls Vol. 3: Sugar and Spice Art Book.
I was given the theme last minute because a previous entrant couldn't finish theirs, and since I was next in line on the wait list, I got it.
I immediately researched the dessert and upon seeing the delicious pictures, I thought of a sexy freckled(spots/marks on peaches) redhead(red lining of the peaches) stripping down to her peaches(inner peaches), and to get into a bowl of cream =P With less than a week to work on it, I'm pretty happy with it.
I wanted to also go for more of a Gil Elvgren pin-up style mixed with Norman Rockwell poster touch. I also wanted to mimic Tex Avery's sexy Red Hot Riding Hood character, due to her being a hot redhead =)
