Janice Jupiter & the Space Ape I started this concept art -- an idea for a comic book series -- with pencil, pen, and ink for a black & white image. But after transferring the image into Photoshop I used the colors, swatches and filters to integrate the palette colors with the black ink, changing the look into the type of image I originally had in mind: the idea of a momentary snapshot or a picture-portrait painting of these three galaxy adventurers.
