Unborn jet fighter I enjoy bringing to life aircraft that never were. Here is such an example. It is the Messerschmitt Me P 1070, a German jet fighter design of World War II. It was cancelled in favour of a better design (the famous Me 262) and therefore never flew. I have portrayed it as if it did and gave it the colours of the Royal Romanian Air Force, which allied with Germany during most of the war. The image was made for John Baxter’s new book “The Alternate Luftwaffe”.
