Mexus Marines This is a render that I made for a work in progress game called Mexus, developed by Studios Tortuga. This is an artwork piece for that.
The face is a self-portrait of me that i made two years ago. The rest of the model has been built by my brother, David Avila, and I catch them to this image. The role of this marines is a dark play. They are invasors. They stole Mexus's resources for decades. We inspired in the US Army, and some Sci-Fi artwork that we have find.
This man was modeled in high-poly, to translate him ro a low-poly model using Kaldera normal-maps tools. I only pushed one light, and made this cute bounces. After the render I added the subsurface scattering in Photoshop. However, this model is ideal for comercials renders and artworks.
