Little Friends #Copied from entryID 14838# "Little Friends" was created for two veteran fighter pilots, who flew P-51D Mustangs during the Second World War. Both pilots have been good friends for over 60 years now, but never actually flew together. That's why their aircraft were accurately recreated and rendered together in formation flight. The response of the veterans when they were presented with the prints was overwhelming and has made this image the most satisfying artwork I have ever made. It was made from scratch within the space of one month, all done in spare time. The title "Little Friends" refers to the nickname bomber crews gave to their fighter escort.
