Helena - Forget Me Not She is Helen of Troy, in the background the burning town.
Normally, I tend to do a lot of planning and concept sketches, but here I started with just the face on a brown background, using a reference photo from CosmoGirl.
The background consists of mostly textured brushes in different layers set to various modes such as "soft light", etc. I've rarely done stuff like this before and it was fun.
