All in a day's work... Done as a cover painting for a prospective manga series. I used 3ds Max to model the tank and city, setup lighting, and find the right perspective for the composition. From this scene a mockup image was rendered, over which I painted all of the details in Photoshop. Inspiration was drawn from Bladerunner, RoboCop, Dominion: Tank Police, Dirty Harry, and Akira.
