The Hide-out With this piece I wanted to challenge myself, in order to see if I can create a believable bright daylight scene. I deliberately tried to avoid the use of heavy fog or mist, as one finds in so many matte paintings. I employed a lot of painting, stock photography and photos that I took myself. The painting was done over the course of several weeks.
