Leaving Atlantis I've been written a fantasy novel since 2003 (yet unfinished), and one of the stories talks about Lorelei, a nereid who lives in the "Ever Happy" Kingdom of Atlantis. She's the keeper of a magic zaphyr, as all the nereids. She leaves her home because her fiancee died in a war against evil magicians and the sadness caused by this event can't allow Lorelei to live with her people anymore
