Russian Santa - Ded Moroz The russian analogue of Santa Claus is Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost). He and his grand daughter Snegurochka live near to the city of Velikiy Ustyug, among snow-covered wood. In a bag Father Frost bears gifts for kiddies.
