Ded Moroz and Three (Troyka) Russian Santa - Ded Moroz - travels in the sledge harnessed three horses. The system of horse team is called "Russian three" (Russkaya troyka). The average horse trots, and laterals run gallop, it provides very rational distribution of forces. And by the way, Ded Moroz's horses are magic.
