Dancing hair The movement of the girl's hair was inspired by a dance. Stark contrasts were used to create a fabric like quality reminiscent of the swirling silk costumes used by the dancers. I also tried to make the whole illustration more ethereal by giving the girl a faraway gaze and a slightly enchanted expression.
